Through all my years of odd jobs, I picked up this recipe from a chef a few years back. Mango Salsa is so easy to make, so healthy and is the perfect appetizer to bring to a party. My Mango Salsa has been quite the floozy... she has danced on fish tacos and has had corn chips skinny dip in her. Always a hit, even for the not-so-kitchen-friendly.
MANGO SALSA ayayay
2 tomatoes diced
1/2 white onion finely chopped
1/2 bell pepper (I use green for the color :-) diced
2 mangoes chopped
1 cup cilantro (or literally 1 handful plucked from the bunch and chopped)
2 limes juiced
3 pinches cayenne pepper
1 pinch salt
Mix all your ingredients in a bowl and taste the summer!
Cooking is an art, feel free to play with this recipe and make it your own. Avocados, black beans, etc... anything goes.
