I have tried every work out that I can... Trying to find the one workout that makes my body look the best without killing myself on a cardio machine. Pilates is a very old and very popular class for a reason. Not only does Pilates elongate your muscles, it defines them in ways no other weight training could. My posture is amazing and the longer one trains in Pilates the more daily effects you can gain. I now walk around with perfect posture, my stomach is trained to be tight and sucked in, my flexibility has reached new heights and I am rarely sore. I am an avid Yogi, but Pilates is a close second. It is so main stream now a days, there is surely a studio near by.
